Via the ChessUp blog, I discovered this thought-provoking article on ChessBase, which in addition to comparing World Champions' moves to Crafty, also makes some interesting attempts at defining and measuring chess 'style.'

    Crafty is quite basic. Not relevant IMO.

    But is the idea of testing the greats out against the computer a valid way to determine 'the best'? That is the question, playerz.
